Designing for Collective Power & Civil Rights Advocacy

We the Majority (The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights)

Visual System Application, Environmental Graphics, Digital & Print

Overview

We the Majority is the annual reception hosted by The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, convening civil rights advocates, policymakers, and organizational leaders to advance a shared agenda for justice and equity.

As Lead Designer, I led the visual execution of the event by translating established brand guidelines into a cohesive, experience-driven system, ensuring consistency and clarity across all touchpoints.

strategic approach

The creative challenge was not to develop a new identity, but to elevate and unify the application of an existing brand across a live event environment.

I approached the work by treating the brand guidelines as a flexible system rather than a static set of rules, directing how they were applied across formats to create a seamless and intentional experience. The approach emphasized system-led execution, extending brand guidelines into a cohesive, multi-touchpoint experience, creative oversight, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment across all deliverables, as well as clarity and accessibility, designing for diverse audiences within both physical and digital environments.

By combining direction with hands-on design, I was able to maintain both strategic alignment and a high level of craft throughout the project.
